This study examined the public perception of the factors preventing youth fromactive participation in politics in Minna Metropolis, Niger State. The study adopted a surveyresearch design, and the population of the study comprised 600,800 youth and adult residents ofMinna Metropolis who are familiar with political activities in the area. A sample size of 384respondents was selected using the Krejcie and Morgan Table. A stratified random samplingtechnique was used to ensure equal representation of both male and female respondents.
